The Latest Care Package!

The care packages keep getting smaller due to the amount of families waiting because of the EP quota from 2009. Our agency takes them over when someone flies to Korea. We have to be creative to fit everything in the sandwich bag.

Hopefully soon our son will be able to come home!

Pictures from Christmas

We received some lovely pictures from Christmas of our handsome son with his wonderful foster mother and social worker. He seems to like the toy truck that we sent him and he is learning how to bow. What a polite young man!

December Care Package for Baby Brother

We were happy to send Baby Brother a care package. And we included a token of our appreciation to his Foster Mother. Since there are so many families waiting due to the quota, we were only allowed to use a sandwich bag instead of a gallon bag.

We received new pictures of our baby boy today!
We are so excited to see how he has grown.
It was a great surprise to recieve the pictures!

Hannah is showing off Hee Chan's baby announcement

Here is the quote from her school from the daily newsletter.

"Today we found out very exciting news from Hannah. She told us that her family is adopting a baby boy from Korea! We talked about what adoption might mean. She told us that they were going to travel to Korea on an airplane and bring him home. Congratulations!!!!!!"

We were fortunate to be able to send Hee Chan and his foster mother some gifts. Here are all of the treasures we were able to stuff into a 1 gallon zip lock bag. I was really surprised that everything fit and I think we broke a physics law. It will probably burst at some point.

Welcome baby boy Hee Chan!

We are thrilled to announce that we received a referral for a gorgeous baby boy on Tuesday, September 29th , 2009. His name is Hee Chan meaning delightful and bright. We are so excited and can't wait to meet him one day.
